It features a high power rating of 1000W, outstanding energy efficiency of 80 Plus Platinum (92% efficiency or more) and practical modular cabling. It is also worth noting the presence of a PCI-E 16-pin connector, an OLED screen (shows the output power) and a special proprietary Asus Aura Sync backlight.
It can work properly in a network with a voltage of 100 to 240 V, which makes it insensitive to drawdowns and voltage fluctuations in domestic power systems. It is positioned as the flagship product of 2022, designed to power high-performance gaming systems with top-end graphics cards. Also, the Asus ROG Thor Platinum II ROG-THOR-1000P2-GAMING power supply is quite suitable for bold overclocking experiments. The basis of this model was a high-tech hardware platform with a resonant LLC converter, a synchronous rectifier and DC-DC converters. Provides extremely high stability of output voltages and allows you to give up to 99.6% of power through the +12V channel. The cooling system can operate in hybrid mode, in which the 135mm fan does not spin at loads less than 400W.
