In this device, instead of the first filter, which should be class G3, a protective mesh is installed, which is not a filter in principle. Its mesh is about 1mm, about the same as a mosquito net. You can read the instructions through this grid! As a result, all dirt ends up in the main filter, which, according to the instructions, cannot be cleaned or maintained. Only replacement is allowed. The manufacturer replied that this is how it should be, i.e. Has absolutely no understanding of filters and their specifications. Or he specifically sells such a design in the hope of selling the main filters for replacement, which clog very quickly without prior preparation. Quiet at the first speed Cleans the air well Absence of a pre-filter. You have to aim the remote control directly at the receiver. If the device is installed in the right corner, the remote is completely useless. Quite noisy at the third speed. ![]() |
Super economical ventilation
With the Blauberg FRESHER 50 air handling unit, you can effectively ventilate a small living space. It is equipped with two filters: an external one (class G3) provides coarse cleaning of the incoming air, and an internal one (class F8) traps the smallest dust particles. The overall cleaning efficiency reaches 98% — there is practically no dust in the air entering the room.
A feature of this ventilator is its high energy efficiency. It is equipped with an EC fan with a brushless motor (such motors last longer and “eat less” than traditional electric motors). Therefore, Blauberg FRESHER 50 consumes several times less electricity than other devices of similar performance. At maximum fan speed, power consumption is only 7 watts. According to the manufacturer's calculations, on average, the air handling unit “eats” only 88 kWh per year.
Simple and inexpensive
Blauberg FRESHER 50 is one of the simplest and least expensive ventilation solutions. Although it has a low productivity (50 m³ / h for one small room), but in many cases this is quite enough. The installation is flexibly configured (there are three fan speeds plus a couple of special modes) and easily controlled (this can be done using the remote control or the keys on the touch panel). An automatic switch can even be connected to it, triggered by sensors that measure indoor air humidity and carbon dioxide concentration (automatics, sensors and other accessories are not included in the package and are purchased separately). The room unit has a small size (235x285x68 mm) and a neat design, so it fits easily into any room.
Complaints about Blauberg ventilators relate exclusively to the issue of filters. The internal filter element should be changed every three months, and it is not sold everywhere. Therefore, when buying this air handling unit, it is better to immediately make yourself a small supply of filters, so that later you do not have to look for them all over the Internet.
