This model is the most budget-friendly from this brand. If it's not critical for you, as it wasn't for me, you can look for a used one in excellent condition for a reasonable price. Over a couple of months of use, the microphone hasn't let me down once and still performs its functions brilliantly. What was really pleasing is that no drivers are needed for connection—just plug it in, and it works. The sound quality is more than enough for streaming, video commentary, or Skype calls, and it’s definitely better than my C920 webcam. When the microphone is connected, the red indicator is always on, and since I don't use it very often, I put it away to save space and avoid the glowing indicator. Getting a pop filter for it would definitely be a plus to cut out breathing sounds and loud consonants.
