Never get involved with Carl Zeiss lenses. The official representatives are inadequate: http://lsteam.ru/shop-zeiss/. I needed an adjustment for my Carl Zeiss lens (back focus issues, the farther the distance, the greater the back focus, even despite confirmation, in Live View mode everything is spot on). I wrote to them, attached comparisons taken in manual mode on Nikon 35 1.4 G (at any distance, wide open, it is precisely on target), and they wrote back such nonsense: According to your information, the lens provides normal focusing in Live View mode. Correct? This means that its adjustment (calibration according to the camera's back focal length) is fine. I repeat, there are NO differences in the operation of the lens (movement of optical elements, etc.) when focusing through the viewfinder and monitor screen. All errors related to focus misses in such situations are explained by the impossibility of accurately controlling focus, even if you have a sharp eye. Conclusion - the problem you are asking to solve is not related to the lens. Mechanical adjustment of the working distance makes sense only when it's impossible to focus the lens to infinity. In general, the conclusion is: there will be no adjustment! Shoot as is. By the way, fine-tuning doesn't help at all, the image only deteriorates with both + and -. So, the Nikon 35 1.4 G can focus precisely manually, but Carl Zeiss can't and can't be corrected - BRAVO!!! Rarely when it comes into focus, the picture is normal. There is no service in Russia, only Kulibins. use Carl Zeiss 25mm f/2.0 Distagon T* few months |
