Suspended hood Cata F 2060 inox/B is compact in size, cost-effective, very easy to install. This device appeared in our family about three years ago. Our kitchen is small, only 6 squares, so we needed a modest hood. Its productivity makes 320 m?/hour. Despite such indicators, the motor perfectly draws in all fumes and odors. In addition, externally, the model looks great in the interior of the kitchen. It works in recirculation mode, we change the carbon filter in it as needed. Depending on how polluted the air is, we choose the cleaning speed. The hood has 3 speeds in total. True, the hood is noisy at the third speed (this is its only drawback), but there is simply no need to turn on the maximum speed itself. At the first two speeds, the model effectively cleans the air. Controlled by 5 buttons. They are on the front panel. The backlight is bright. I feel very comfortable with this hood, I recommend it! Great budget model. Effectively cleans the air. Button control. The Spanish company Cata Electrodomesticos SL has been producing ventilation systems for the home and industry for 65 years. The F 2060 hood has long been a top seller due to its simplicity and reliability, combined with an affordable price.
Versatile design
The design of the model is somewhat archaic. Many will surely remember the old hoods that hung in their kitchens in the early 90s. However, those who are embarrassed by such "rarity" can close the hood with a cabinet.
The flat rectangular case measuring 60x47x11.2 cm is offered in three colours: white, brown and Inox (stainless steel). There is a glass visor to increase the area of air being captured and as an additional protection against steam and splashes. The control buttons are located on the front panel on the right. Everything is intuitive: 3 buttons are responsible for choosing the speed, two more for on / off. motor and lighting. The last one is weak. Only one 40 W incandescent lamp, the light of which is only enough for the stove area.
Functionality
The performance of the hood is also quite modest — 320 m3 / h. For a kitchen of 5 – 6 m2, this will be enough, but less. There is only one engine on board, so you won’t go wild. But the device works very quietly. At the 1st speed, the noise level does not exceed 40 dB(the norm for residential premises, from 07:00 to 23:00), and at the third — 47 dB (slightly louder than normal speech). And this is one of the lowest rates among hoods in general.
Traditionally, the Cata F 2060 is equipped with an aluminium grease filter and works as a diverter. It also provides for the installation of a carbon filter and operation in recirculation mode. Active filters change as they become dirty, and the painted metal mesh can be washed and used further.
Cata F 2060 is not the cheapest in the niche, its purchase will cost from $50 to $70 depending on the colour and the seller, but for a small kitchen in Khrushchev, in the country, it is perfect, as it will work reliably, and most importantly, for a very long time — up to 10 years.
