I use one of these in the gym, not regularly but just as an alternative to the treadmill or elliptical, especially on "leg day" when I don't have energy to run, but need to finish with some cardio after a workout, and since everything is done sitting down, it's a big plus. First, you secure your feet in the loops (similar to children's skis), then you pull the handle towards you and the program starts. The screen displays data about the workout time, distance, speed, and everything as usual, shows the speed of the fan inside the motor. The machine is powered by a built-in battery that charges during the workout, like a dynamo machine. I read that you can connect VR glasses to the screen and simulate rowing as if you're competing =) During the workout, it works out the back, shoulders, arms, you need to push off a bit with your feet to ride on the seat rail since when you're "rowing" towards you, you need to lean back and straighten your legs (ideally). The machine itself is well made, all the parts and the handle with cable, the seat also seems to still be functioning even though the machine has been used in the gym for at least five people every day for two years. The fan inside the motor is quite noisy, and the harder you "row," the louder the blades spin there, and a bit of air blows outside, which should be considered by those who decide to have this at home - all these "air" machines are quite noisy during intense workouts. Great variety for treadmill or orbitrek No ![]() |
