Tyres with tenacious claws, designed to tame slippery winter roads on cars of various classes. The asymmetric tread pattern of the IceContact 2 has been replaced by a traditional directional herringbone. Tyre sizes R14 to R16 use Tikka anti-skid studs with an aluminium body and a tungsten carbide alloy core. In size R17-R21, the model was offered with ContiFlexStud "claws", which have a rubber shell.

However, in fact, they turned out to be unreliable and users were faced with premature loss of spikes. As a result, the German concern refused to use the technology and sent it for revision. In the central area of the tyre tread pattern and shoulder areas, different types of studs are installed: the first ones are responsible for the longitudinal grip properties, the second — for the transverse ones. Also, the model has a developed drainage system for instant removal of water and melted snow from the contact spot. Rapeseed oil in the rubber composition of the tyre retains the elasticity of the tread at low sub-zero outdoor temperatures. An equally important argument in favor of a winter tyre is its low rolling noise, especially in the context of other studded tyres.
