Deerma, a manufacturer of household appliances, has been cooperating with Xiaomi for a long time and produces a number of innovative products for it. The Deerma Shoe Dryer is fundamentally different from most lightweight wired devices that work due to built-in heating elements. This is a solid device weighing 1.2 kg, assembled in a white plastic case measuring 211x117x280 mm. The device, equipped with a plate heating element with a power of 235 W, works on the principle of blowing heated air through the nozzles using a fan. Air intake grilles are located in the lower cover and on the sidewalls of the case, and 2 removable pipes with slotted air supply channels are vertically installed on the upper platform. The outlet pipes, which fit inside the shoe, are connected to the body with 27 cm long corrugated hoses (when extended). This design makes it possible to flexibly change the configuration and location of the tip with a nozzle, as well as effectively dry shoes of different heights. An additional folding stand allows you to tilt the body at an angle, which makes the drying process even more comfortable. Each U-shaped blow nozzle can capture left and right shoes at once, so that the machine can dry 2 pairs of shoes at the same time.
Three drying modes and antibacterial treatment
On the facade there is a control panel with 3 functional buttons and a lot of light indicators. Unfortunately, with the exception of numerical values, all the inscriptions on the panel are made in Chinese. Therefore, before working with the device, we recommend that you read the instruction manual, a link to which is in the "Useful" tab. The far right button turns on the power to the dryer. The left button selects one of the 3 programme modes for the intensity of the heated air supply: weak, standard and for shoes made of natural materials. Sneakers, ballet shoes, slip-ons, espadrilles and other light shoes are dried at a low blowing speed. Medium mode is well suited for sneakers, sports shoes and demi-season shoes. And high performance will be required for leather boots and boots. At the same time, the built-in thermostat maintains a constant heating temperature equal to 65 °C, which does not depend on the operating mode.

Separately, it is worth mentioning the antibacterial treatment mode available here, which, with the help of air ozonation, helps to destroy the fungus and the unpleasant smell of wet shoes. The middle button controls the off timer setting, which sets 4 drying time cycles: 30, 60, 120 and 180 minutes. After the set time has elapsed, the device switches itself off. The safety system is responsible for the safety of the device, which automatically turns off the dryer in case of overheating. Switching off does not occur instantly, because the heater has thermal inertia. He needs some time to cool down. For a long 2-metre power cord puts the manufacturer "offset", and for the American plug plug — a definite minus.
Previously, I used standard warmers that took a day to dry shoes, but this gadget dries and deodorizes them in just a few hours.
