The Chinese company Xiaomi has a huge number of different products, but a real lifesaver during the rainy autumn and winter with slush will be a shoe dryer. This is a fairly simple device, which is two oval "donuts" - just right for one pair of shoes. There are more than 1500 holes on the surface, which ensure even heat distribution and air circulation. The maximum heating temperature is 55 degrees - this is not too much, but, nevertheless, the device allows not only to dry shoes, but also to remove unpleasant odors and microorganisms, thus preventing bacteria and fungus from multiplying. The dryer is powered by the mains and is equipped with a 1.2 m cord, so you will have to find a convenient place near the outlet.
The model can be called universal, as it is suitable for any footwear, be it winter boots, slippers or sneakers, both adults and children. But there are still some limitations: due to their size, the elements simply will not fit into narrow and small children's shoes up to about size 30.
Safety first
Usually, such devices do not cause a feeling of reliability, and it is more calm for many to dry their wet shoes with the good old method - on a battery. But in this case, there is no need to worry about security. Firstly, the dryer maintains the set temperature and does not overheat. Secondly, a PTC heating element is installed inside, which is fire and explosion proof. Thirdly, the body is made of fire-resistant material. Finally, a huge advantage is the presence of a timer that turns off the heating after a predetermined time - after 3, 6 or 9 hours. That is, you do not have to get up at night to turn off the device - you can even safely leave the house, leaving the dryer on. Practice shows that 3 hours is enough to remove excess moisture, 6 hours to dry shoes after puddles and slush and get rid of the smell, and 9 hours is enough to dry after washing. The only frustrating thing is that some stores sell a version without a timer.
