Good 800 watt
While other tile cutters in the same power class have steel frames, the 800-watt Einhell TC-TC 800 is built on a pedestal of durable and impact-resistant plastic. This design made it possible to make the equipment more convenient to use. The hard plastic housing protects the motor well from the dust that forms when sawing ceramics, and splashes — the constant "companions" of machines with water-cooled discs. The coolant bath is made directly in the body (the machine does not need to be turned over to drain the water, just pull out the plug). Water is perfectly collected in the bath, and does not spread around (like many other tile cutters), and the workplace remains dry and clean. On the side surfaces of the machine there is a handle designed to carry a 9.2-kilogram device, and hooks for winding the cord. Therefore, it will be very convenient for craftsmen working on the road to carry the machine with them from one object to another.
Made to last
The table is made of high quality stainless steel. It has dimensions of 395x385 mm, so even fairly large floor tiles fit on the machine. The possibility of tilting the table allows you to make angle cuts.
The build quality of the machine is not satisfactory. It works practically without vibrations (the presence of rubber legs affects), and it makes a very moderate noise (earplugs or headphones are not required). The disc mount has no backlash, so it does not “drive” from side to side, and the cut is of sufficient quality, as for a not the most expensive machine. The only drawback noticed is the tendency of the engine to overheat (the manufacturer recommends taking pauses every 10 to 15 minutes).
Semi-professional machine
Despite the fact that Einhell has a reputation as a manufacturer of DIY (Do It Yourself) tools, this machine is in demand not only among amateurs. Professional tilers also leave good reviews about this model, because the Einhell TC-TC 800 does a good job of cutting tiles and porcelain stoneware, takes up little space in the working position and is easy to carry.
