The manufacturer Electrolux positions the ultrasonic humidifier as a performant solution. The model is designed for an area up to 50 m², and the maximum intensity reaches 400 mL / h.
An abundance of opportunities
Electrolux EHU-3310D supports the supply of warm steam. With it, energy consumption rises from 25 W to 105 W per hour, but heated humidified air enters the room. The heat also kills bacteria and pathogens in the water. And the built-in UV lamp should also improve the quality of disinfection.
The model is supplemented with a compartment for aromatization, is equipped with a switchable interior lighting of the case and “knows how” to ionize the air.
Auto modes and manual settings
The humidifier has 4 automatic modes. Normal Auto SMART maintains the optimal humidity level based on the current air temperature. Night SMART turns off the backlight and indication so that they do not interfere with sleep. Plus, really quiet operation (up to 25 dB) is claimed for different scenarios of using the device. BABY mode is suitable for children (humidity 55%, warm steam and UV lamp sterilization are active by default), and Health SMART mode is for allergy sufferers and those with respiratory diseases (humidity is 5% higher than in Auto SMART).
You can also set your own humidity presets, and the hygrostat will maintain them automatically. In addition, 3 manual settings for the intensity of evaporation, the activation of a timer or the control of other options (heating, disinfection, ionization, etc.) are available.
Sensors, remote control, filtering
The main controls are sensors and a display. The latter displays not only the current humidity, but also the air temperature. There is also child protection with a control lock. The complete remote control duplicates the main panel.
The disadvantages of the device include not the most convenient procedure for filling a 5.5-liter tank. First you need to remove the cover of the evaporator, then remove the tank and turn it over, since the filling hole is at the bottom. However a large filter cartridge is provided in the lid, which cleans deposits and very successfully protects against white plaque when using tap water.
