A large lens protrudes from the compact body of the device, taking in the surrounding reality with a wide view with a viewing angle of 140 °. The maximum resolution of recorded videos corresponds to the FullHD format (1920x1080 pixels). In parallel with the picture, the Falcon HD65-LCD writes an audio track to a microSD memory card.

To change the video recording settings, as well as manage the footage, a 3-inch display on the back of the device is used. Hidden from prying eyes under the glossy outer shell of the DVR are a motion detector and a G-sensor that reacts to bumps and other sudden impacts, after which it places the video recorded at these moments in a separate secure folder. Also, in the event of a lack of power from the on-board car network, a short-term power supply of the recorder is provided by a built-in 200 mAh battery.
