I received this rod as a gift for my birthday as a beginner angler, and I have used it several times since. I am using it with a Sniper Spin 4 6730RD reel, which results in good balance. The "stick" is very light and fits well in the hand. Due to my inexperience, I managed to pull out a pike weighing around three kilograms onto a platform without a landing net, but nothing broke, and no defects appeared. The handle is covered with a soft, foam-like, pleasant-to-touch material. The mounting rings for the reel look reliable, and there are no complaints.
