My daughter really liked the design in the Fixiki style )) It's one of her favorite cartoons, so the pink watch with the distinctive logo was a big hit. The watch allows us to track our child's location, even when I'm on a business trip in another city. Here's how it works: a SIM card is installed in the watch, effectively making it a small mobile phone with a built-in GPS navigation module. The coordinates provided by the navigation module are transmitted via a GPRS channel and then mapped on both my and my wife's smartphones. Thanks to this feature, we can quickly find out where our daughter is, and since she has a tiny phone on her wrist, we can call her and chat. There is also a feedback option, with two buttons on the watch case, allowing my daughter to call either mom or dad. Surprisingly, the sound quality is quite decent, though the speaker volume needs to be adjusted via a computer connection. The watch's battery capacity is surprisingly high, about 600 mAh, but understandably, it doesn't last long. 3-3.5 days is the maximum you can achieve if you don’t use the watch much as a phone. I figured that maintaining the SIM card for a year would cost over 800 hryvnias, which is more than half the cost of the watch. Setting up these smartwatches was a hassle for my wife and me. The saga lasted three days, and we spent a lot of time making calls to the operator, who was hard to reach. In the end, an instruction we found online was what helped. Some kind soul had selflessly left behind a detailed step-by-step description of their actions. I think it would be wise for our resellers to agree with the Chinese manufacturers to include such instructions in the packaging. |
