Model overview based on user reviews
The Focal JMLab Utopia headphones are highly regarded for their exceptional sound quality, making them a worthy replacement for older models like the Grado PS1000. Users appreciate the enveloping and resilient bass and the intact soundstage, which enhances various music genres. Despite their high price, they are considered a good investment for those seeking a single, reliable pair of headphones for professional sound engineering. However, some users express concerns about the rapid pace of technological advancements potentially rendering these headphones obsolete in the future. Overall, the Focal Utopia offers a neutral sound profile that may not appeal to all audiophiles but is ideal for those who prioritize sound accuracy and quality.
Pros
Cons
Now, seriously: Focal Utopia is a good compromise for those who cannot afford to maintain a fleet of several monitor headphones of different brands, designs and prices, but at the same time, they want to have a device at their disposal that allows them to do their job at the proper level. We are talking about sound engineering, because for audiophiles these headphones are too neutral in sound and not expensive enough. The price of these headphones is much less than the total cost of all those, the totality of which they are equivalent in sound. Equipment for that kind of money is made well and reliably, but the other side of the coin is that over the years progress will go far ahead, some orders of magnitude more advanced models will appear, maybe even breakthrough technologies, and at a much lower price, and you will be left with old, excellent, but obsolete headphones, for which you once paid the cost of a car. It will probably be annoying. use Focal JMLab Utopia more than year |
Definitely take it, it's a good thing. Do not take any senheisers and akg, do not become like the marginals. Only with pho-call can you hear the word of the Lord. Finally, a somewhat worthy replacement for my Grado PS1000, which have become outdated on all fronts. Yes, they sound good, and work well as monitors when reading prayers. The bass is enveloping and resilient, the soundstage remains intact, and chanson music sounds upbeat. By the way, the package includes the legendary album of the world-renowned chansonnier, Kolyan Siplov "Patsany-Patsanchiki" as a gift, a big thank you for that, truly appreciated. Incidentally, while reading prayers, sometimes the voice of Jesus can be heard in the headphones, and now we have occasional conversations. Initially, I turned it up to 80% volume - the cross on the church dome tilted, probably couldn’t withstand the devilish sound. I let the choir singers check out the sound - they didn’t quite get it, but what can you expect, they’re ladies, not very savvy with sound... It's good they don't know how much they cost, because when they asked where all the money donated to the church went, I told them I spent it on building a new church... Now I feel a bit uneasy about it and I'm atoning for my sins. use Focal JMLab Utopia month or more i recommend it should buy |
