In my case, it was the problem of excess weight, which in a year and a half made me change almost all my favorite clothes. From my previous weight loss programs, I know one thing for sure. The main thing is that the process should not be interrupted, at least until the first results are obtained. It is important to see that the efforts are not in vain, and then a second wind of motivation appears, with which you can already move on. Most fitness trackers require recharging, which cannot be done while wearing, so the bracelet has to be removed and ugly holes appear on beautiful graphs in applications. This bracelet does not require recharging at all, because it does not have a battery! It is powered by two lithium batteries, which, according to the manufacturer, last for a year. If it was another brand, I would probably doubt it, but it's Garmin - they know how to keep brands. The last doubts disappeared when I got acquainted with the rest of the device parameters. It has its own screen, but it is not made using the usual TFT or LED technology. There is an E-ink display installed here, and it does not have a backlight. This and automatic "falling asleep" in the absence of activity allows such a screen to be ultra-economical. Again, thanks to the high contrast, it can be read even at dusk, so it’s quite possible to live without backlighting. It counts the steps taken well, the situation with the distance traveled is worse. It also reminds you of the need to shake yourself up and walk with prolonged inactivity. It does not even have a primitive alarm clock, energy saving does not allow such waste. And he can’t automatically recognize sleep and you need to manually switch it to passive mode. With a long lack of synchronization, the built-in memory overflows and, as a result, the old data is overwritten with new ones. |
