The S in the name of the smartwatch stands for smaller size: unlike the Vivoactive 4, this model is more compact thanks to its 1.1-inch display. The device has a classic round shape and is designed for round-the-clock health monitoring: monitors heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, water balance, menstrual cycle and stress levels, as well as monitors the quality and duration of sleep.
Sports fans will appreciate over 20 pre-installed sports apps, animated workouts (yoga, pilates, cardio, etc.) and breathing exercises. The Garmin Vivoactive 4S case is water resistant up to 5ATM and allows you to use the gadget in the shower. The screen displays incoming messages and letters, which can be answered directly on the watch, but only when using an Android smartphone. You can also download and listen to music and pay for purchases contactlessly using Garmin Pay. On a single charge, the watch works up to 7 days, but GPS reduces this time to 5 hours.

The model is a more compact version of Vivoactive 4 — hence the letter S in the name. She has a 1.1-inch display with a resolution of 218x218 pixels, which is quite clearly visible to the necessary information. The watch is not massive, so it will suit both men and women, and not only under sportswear. They are designed for constant wear: the straps are interchangeable, the screen is protected by durable and non-staining Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the case is water resistant up to 5 ATM, that is, you can wash your hands in the watch and not be afraid to get caught in the rain.
Synchronization with a smartphone occurs using the Garmin Connect application, after which incoming calls, messages and notifications will be duplicated on the screen. It is possible to reply to text messages, but it is only available when connected to an Android device. You can also make contactless payments with Garmin Pay.
Health
Garmin Vivoactive 4S allows you to monitor your health around the clock: the Pulse Ox sensor measures the level of oxygen saturation in the blood during the day and during sleep, the device monitors your heart rate, reporting frequent readings during rest and breathing, monitors sleep and assesses stress levels. Water balance is also monitored, but for this you need to independently record the amount of fluid you drink and the state of the body in order to determine the optimal time for exercise and rest.
