I changed tyres in the spring, here I went in the summer, I'm ready to give an assessment. These are not the best tyres I have ever tried, but I have no particular complaints about the manufacturer. Immediately after changing shoes, you feel softness and lightness, that's just noticeable. But from this they are no worse, they behave perfectly on a wet track. I took economical ones. To be honest, for the time being, I thought for a while that this was a marketing ploy, and as practice shows, I almost turned out to be right))) there are savings, but minimal. It's hard for me to conclude this is because of the tyres or for some other reason. But I can say that the savings are so meager that you should not even bother with it. But what is really good is the asymmetric tread combined with softness. Perfectly smooths out irregularities, but at the same time did not notice rolls. When cornering, the car is just as stable as with symmetry, but they are less noisy. The EfficientGrip Performance 2 rolled off the Goodyear lines for the first time ahead of the 2020 summer season. The tyre belongs to the premium segment of tyres and is designed for use on the wheels of medium and large cars.
Grip stability
The tyre uses an asymmetric tread pattern with three longitudinal stiffeners and special notches on them, made using Dry Stability Plus technology. This development improves the reliability of "dry" grip properties. “Wet” grip and short braking distances in rainy weather are the prerogative of another proprietary feature called WetBraking. The tyre confidently holds onto the wet road surface and demonstrates a short braking distance.
Flagship Specifications
The summer compound of the model, due to its low rigidity, makes it easier to break the tread blocks and better removes water. As a result, the tyre resists longitudinal aquaplaning well. Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 also has a low level of rolling resistance, which reduces fuel consumption and ensures even tread wear. In terms of service life, the tyre will easily last on the wheels of a car for three to four seasons in a row.
