A compact and extremely simple mechanical juicer for home use, presented on the market by the popular Slovenian brand of small and large household appliances — Gorenje. The device is designed exclusively for the production of freshly squeezed juice from citrus fruits and equally well handles with the extraction of juice from lemons, oranges, limes and grapefruits. The device is equipped with a large liter tank for collecting juice for such models, which allows you to prepare a fairly large volume of natural juice at a time.
Gorenje CJ40W operates at a low power of 40 W and is controlled mechanically. That is, the user will have to make, among other things, their own efforts in order to get freshly squeezed juice at the output. The device has only one working speed and one cone-shaped nozzle, so you should not expect high performance from it. However, the model is equipped with a system for adjusting the amount of pulp in the juice: grids with holes of different diameters allow you to decide how much pulp you want to leave in the juice and how much to remove. The case itself and most of the components are made of durable plastic, making the juicer reliable in use and easy to clean.

I've wanted a citrus juicer for a long time, but my husband once heard this and brushed it off. However, one evening, we had friends over and decided to make cocktails for a pleasant atmosphere. The store-bought orange juice in a carton turned out to be quite bland. So, I quickly squeezed a small portion of juice directly from a whole orange by hand, mixed it with vodka, and let my husband try it. The following week, he brought me this juicer. Inexpensive. The juice comes out very tasty. You can't even compare it to what's sold in stores in foil carton packages and various kinds of bottles. Of course, the taste greatly depends on the quality of the oranges, but even with average fruit, you get a divine drink, which you can enjoy on its own or mix with other natural juices. The machine is quite powerful, separates the pulp well, and there's no chance of seeds getting into the juice. It can be assembled in about 15-20 seconds, and disassembled even faster. It's easy to wash and also very quick to clean. Two-year warranty. It handles only small diameter citrus fruits very well. Lemon - OK, small or medium-sized orange also OK, but dealing with a full-sized grapefruit is not very convenient. The thing is, the rotating ribbed juicing cone is small, and it's quite tricky to maneuver it in the large hemisphere of a grapefruit. As a result, extracting all the juice from citrus fruits of that size is quite labor-intensive. The cord is short, about 40-50 cm less than what would be convenient. |
