Kitchen appliances from the Slovenian company Gorenje often stand out from their peers with their elegant design. The kettle K 15 DWW was no exception to the rule - a practical model with a volume of 1.5 liters.
Nothing extra
The electric kettle was launched on the market under the motto "nothing more". Indeed, in its design, only the buttons for opening the top cover and turning on the heating stand out. The elongated body of the kettle is made of high-quality plastic, behind the double walls inside it is hidden a metal flask with measured markings for determining the water level.
Hidden heater
Gorenje K 15 DWW is powered by a 2200 W hidden heating element. It will take him literally 5 minutes to boil the full volume of water. Due to the presence of an air gap between the walls of the appliance, the kettle remains not hot to the touch even immediately after boiling, which significantly reduces the risk of burns.
Security systems
Of the security systems in the model, the functions of protection against switching on without water, as well as protection against overheating (at temperatures above 100 ° C) are implemented. The kettle is “parked” on a swivel stand with the ability to rotate the jug through 360°. The power cord is connected to the base and can be hidden in it, so that extra wires do not get in the way on the working surface of the kitchen countertop.
After 1.5 months of use, I noticed that the bottom of the kettle rusted in the area of the heating element. The water at the bottom was yellow. Upon closer inspection, I noted that the surface was already covered with rust spots. I returned it to the store where I purchased it. They informed me that it had returned from the service center. The technical inspection report claims no rust was found. Strange how the technical inspection works. I see it, the Foxtrot sellers see it, but the service did not find it.
Don't read reviews on different sites. Some fantasist sits and writes paid praises.
I left the kettle in the store and turned to the Gorenje service center, resulting in complete disregard. This, of course, is understandable. They've imported a lot of this junk.
I wrote a review on the Foxtrot website so others wouldn't poison themselves with rusty water. They did not publish it. Everything is perfect with them!
DON'T BUY Gorenje!
DON'T BUY at Foxtrot!
THE WARRANTY DOESN'T WORK!
I addressed the Consumer Protection Department, the State Consumer Service, etc., in writing to resolve the issue. By the way, after many years of purchases, it's the first time I see such an attitude towards customers! Waiting to see how the state authorities will help.
