Noble Sound in a Compact Body

The presented model is similar to its older brother Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 2, but the body of the updated audio system has become monolithic without an external rim, and the device control has been moved to the leather-wrapped rear panel. Under the control buttons are located the ports: micro-USB (for firmware updates), mini-Jack port (3.5 mm), and power cable input. There is also a convenient handle for carrying the device.

Sound Quality

To ensure stereo sound, the audio system is equipped with Harman Kardon Wireless Dual Sound technology, allowing the device to synchronize with other gadgets equipped with the same function. Remarkably, up to three sound sources can be connected to the audio system via Bluetooth (version 4.1) for sequential playback of tracks.

Behind the sturdy fabric cover are two 20mm tweeters and a pair of 75mm woofers. Each of the sound channels is boosted by 15W, and regardless of the volume level, the installed drivers maintain crystal-clear sound across the entire frequency range of the acoustic system (50 – 20000 Hz).
