Honeywell FF06-3/4AA

The Honeywell FF06-3 / 4AA flow filter performs an important mission of purifying tap water from large-caliber mechanical contaminants, protecting household appliances in the manner of washing machines and dishwashers from failure due to foreign particles entering the mechanisms.

On guard of water purity

The model is to be installed in the bowl down position immediately after the valve of the inlet water supply line (behind the water metre), docking with a 3/4" pipe in diameter. In the AA version, the filter is sharpened for a tie-in into the cold water supply system. Honeywell FF06-3/4AAM filter with a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C.

Strainer

Cares for catching coarse particles larger than 100 microns are thrown onto the shoulders of a stainless steel mesh element. Cut-off contaminants accumulate in this case in a metal flask, the washing of which is possible without dismantling the filter from the pipeline. To turn on the tank flush mode, you will need to open the ball valve and wait until the water flow under inlet pressure has washed all the debris outside the filter.

High performance

The brass case of Honeywell FF06-3/4AA maintains pressure to 16 atm. Also flattering words deserve the performance of "running" water through the filter — over 100 L / min. But for some reason there are no meshes with smaller holes for cutting off small particles in the manufacturer's portfolio. Therefore, in order to use tap water as drinking water, it is advisable to acquire a separate flow product of multi-stage filtration.
