I wrote a review of the 750 ER drill, but I'll hold off on the T version, since I've seen a drill like that with a plastic gearbox housing. If these are the only design differences, then it's up to the buyer to judge. I wouldn't choose it, since there's an alternative version available. In this case, you might want to consider the 780 ER. It also uses plastic, but this tool has stood the test of time. If with the "T" version, they've gone for "savings," then where's the guarantee that they haven't cut corners elsewhere? The picture shows a metal housing. For me, 500 grams (or however much it weighs) for reliability is worth it. This drill allows you to remove the gearbox for lubrication without disassembling the housing, although you also need to check inside for the condition of the brushes and cleaning the electrical part. The model in the photo has none (if the design is appropriate). |
After borrowing a drill from neighbors several times, it became clear that I needed to have one myself. A friend who is professionally involved with power tools recommended I get either INTERSKOL or DWT for home use. I didn't know anything about DWT at the time, but I had heard something about INTERSKOL. I bought this drill from an official seller in 2011 for approximately €17. They gave me a 2010-2011 product catalog. A week later, I got a grinder USM-1801800M. I've never regretted it. As for the drill, I agree with all the previous comments - it is an excellent tool. It handled all the tasks I used it for. No issues with the thin drill bit and across the whole range of drill bits, considering the capabilities of the standard chuck, which is easy to change. I once installed a curtain rod in an old panel house - that was a struggle. For concrete, you really need a hammer drill. Now I've accumulated tools, including a hammer drill from another brand, but overall, I consider INTERSKOL and this drill, in particular, to be worthy, reliable tools. Good build, appearance (by the way, my drill differs slightly from the photo - the gearbox casing is more rounded, hopefully, that's where the design differences end). It's hefty, you can feel the power, quality, versatility. Metal gearbox casing. All mechanics on bearings, which suggests not only household use but also professional. I found out from the catalog that in 2008 the 10 millionth product under the INTERSKOL brand was released - the golden drill DU-750 ER. So, the drill has been tested by time. The manufacturer wouldn't showcase a failed product on an anniversary. A suitcase would be useful. Although personally, I don't take it anywhere. I do almost everything at home. use Interskol DU-13/750T 228.1.0.40 more than year |
