Reliable and inexpensive starter batteries from the Ukrainian manufacturer ISTA, addressed to owners of domestic passenger cars and foreign cars. Batteries of the detachment are manufactured using classic lead-acid technology and have a sealed maintenance-free design. Lead alloys with the addition of calcium are used to produce their plates, due to which the battery grids are less prone to shedding of active mass and corrosion processes.
ISTA 7 Series A2 can be used in cars with increased requirements for a power source and a large number of on-board electrical equipment. Batteries of the series have endurance in terms of shaking and vibrations, produce high starting currents. Their cases are made in a European form factor with standard conical terminals (Euro). In addition, batteries of the family have a built-in indicator of the state of the electrolyte. The location of the positive contact in the battery design varies depending on the specific modification - it can be located both on the left and on the right hand.

after a year of use, the plates shorted, and it discharges in a couple of days, so make your own conclusions about the quality—as for me, it's complete [censored]. By the way, it wasn't replaced under warranty, I contacted them in the summer when it still worked, it only occasionally shorted and discharged. I won't deal with Isto anymore. The price is not very high. Presence of an indicator. The indicator turned red after half a year, but it didn't prevent the car from starting reliably in any weather. After three years of easy use (country trips, occasionally city), it went dead after sitting idle for three weeks. An attempt to recharge it was unsuccessful.
