The manufacturer claims that the life of the battery installed in the UPS exceeds 1000 cycles. The Jackery Explorer 500 Charging Station has one regular outlet, three USB A ports and a 12V DC output. Due to constant power outages, I had to purchase this Jackery Explorer 500 to power gadgets, laptops, and other low-power equipment. Overall, it's a decent device that indeed outputs up to 500W. It is very well assembled; everything inside is secured, nothing rattles during transportation, and the plastic is pleasant to the touch and very durable. The backlit display shows the charge percentage, charging power, and output power. It charges quite slowly, albeit silently, because it only draws 80W from the power block. It has rather loud cooling, which activates under loads starting from just 30W. If you work near it, it can be quite nerve-wracking)) perhaps some kind of defect... capacious battery, informative display loud ventilation, lacks Type-C ports with PD. Rated load
The number "500" in the expanded model name indicates the rated load connection power in watts. At the same time, the charging station draws out short-term pulsed power up to 1000 W, which can come in handy by the way to start the power unit of a conditional refrigerator. The storage of food supplies can autonomously operate from a mini-power plant for 7-8 hours. The average TV will stay afloat for the same amount. Battery Li-Ion NMC
The main protagonist of the Jackery Explorer 500 is a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt-oxide Li-Ion NMC battery with a capacity of 518 Wh. The battery has a high specific capacity and a stable discharge voltage, withstands temperature extremes and is fire resistant. The connection of consumer devices to the charging station is established through a single 230 V outlet with a pure sine wave output, a trio of USB A ports, a 12 V car outlet and a DC connector on the same 12 V. Symmetric USB type C with a quick charge function in the model why - is not provided.
Visualization of operating parameters
To display the operating parameters of the power plant, an information display with graphical data regarding the remaining battery charge level and load power is used.
