A quality handheld steam cleaner at a more than reasonable price. The good thing is that it “raises up” in just a couple of minutes, it cleans fine dirt well and effectively. They are good for cleaning small surfaces, like taps or seams between tiles. I bought it specifically for cleaning in the bathroom and in the kitchen, but gradually it began to migrate to the rooms: now I clean it with plastic toys of the child, and window sills, and all sorts of little things like door and window handles. It copes with all pollution easily and quickly, a big plus is that you do not need to pour any chemicals on the contaminated surface (because the child is at home). I bought this device as an assistant in cleaning the house. I chose between a manual model and a floor model, as a result I settled on this one, and did not regret it. 1. Very comfortable to use. Small, compact, very comfortable to hold in your hand. At the same time, the tank is quite capacious, one filling is enough for cleaning 7-10 sq.m. 2. Perfectly removes dirt, soap stains, odors... In general, this is really an indispensable assistant for every housewife. With every cleaning in the bathroom I use it to clean the seams between the tiles - it copes with a bang. Cleaning time has been greatly reduced. And if you steam the carpet, it starts to smell and look like new! 3. With such a small size, the power is very good! The steam pressure is sufficient to steam off any dirt. 1. The kit is missing a floor nozzle. But it can be purchased separately. 2. There is no steam button on the long hose nozzle. It may be difficult to implement from a design point of view, but when working with this nozzle, the button is noticeably lacking. 3. We have mold in our bathroom. Where this infection came from is completely incomprehensible, but it sprouted through silicone putty, appeared on the seams of the tiles, and it was terribly unpleasant. What to do was completely unclear. This steam cleaner was the last line of defense and it really worked. The main merit of this steam cleaner is that it saved us from the invasion of vile and nasty black mold. I can’t say that this is a complete victory, but he managed to drive this rubbish into a deep underground from where it only occasionally crawls out. The device is small in size, light and extremely convenient for such work as the processing of tile and plumbing joints. There is not much water in it, less than a glass, but it gives out noble steam, its pressure reaches three atmospheres, and by home standards this is very, very decent. High electrical power provides fast heating. From a cold state to a vigorous soaring, a little more than three minutes pass. Like any pressure device, it has a safety valve and, like any electric heater, it is equipped with overheating protection. We use it in the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and even took it to the country. The compact bright yellow body of the steam cleaner with dimensions of 19x32x13 cm makes it easy to find a place to store the machine. However due to the small size, the engineers had to cut the capacity of the tank (0.2 L), as a result of which the cleaning process will need to be periodically suspended while the tank is being filled with water. The heating of the liquid in the tank is carried out in about 3 minutes, and you need to rely solely on the clock, since there is no indicator of steam readiness in the design of the device.
Nozzle set
The steam model is supplied by pressing and holding the button on the handle, which may be somewhat inconvenient. Especially when you need to get to hard-to-reach places. For these purposes , an angle nozzle is included in the package of the device. Also in the box with the steam cleaner are a pinpoint nozzle, a fabric nozzle and a round brush. You can use them to clean both in the kitchen and in the bathroom or in the living room, as long as the surfaces that are treated with steam are resistant to high temperatures.
Security
The model has protection against children and curious adults — you can open the lid of its tank only after the end of the reserves in the water tank, which reduces the risk of getting burned by hot steam. Only the small length of the power cord (4 m) does not please many owners of a steam cleaner. However, taking into account the fact that Karcher SC 1 is not focused on general cleaning, it will not be the slightest difficulty to adapt to the length of the power cord for cleaning small surfaces from dirt.
