The American company Koss has long been famous for its various sound equipment, so when I bought this gaming headset, I was sure that I would get a quality product. Koss headphones are famous for their quality balanced sound and the SB-40 model only confirmed this rule. The construction is reliable, I would even say powerful. The huge "ears" and the mighty dual headband look very American. But the decor is not the main thing in this headset. The record size of the ears completely covers even a large ear and provides excellent sound-isolating effect. You won't hear anything from the outside, nor will anyone hear you. The impressive double-tubed headband, on which a soft fabric arc sits, firmly but gently embraces the head. The pressure of the headphones is sufficient for sound insulation but not excessive. Neither the head nor the ears get tired. The headset is well assembled, nothing creaks or wobbles. The sound in games is simply gorgeous. There is a normal bass, clear midrange, and high-frequency sounds are reproduced without noticeable distortion. I especially want to note the clear positioning of the sound source. Sometimes it even makes you want to turn your head. The microphone is movable, descending from behind the left ear, and you can adjust its height and distance from the face. Also, the microphone in this revision of the headset is electret, not dynamic (as it was in earlier revisions), so there are no problems with voice capture quality. 24 months warranty. For shooters and war games, which I prefer, I would like more powerful bass. A volume control wouldn't hurt either. |
