A little less than 300 medium quality plastic parts. How do I know it's average quality? It's very simple, I had to disassemble the motor (about it a little later) and with a slight pressure on the latches, the plastic immediately breaks, this was not the case with ordinary PLA plastic with 3D printing. Next, take other Lego sets, the same Boost, there are 847 parts (3 times more plastic in production) and it is 30 percent cheaper.
Electronics. There is a smart hub, two sensors (a gyroscope and an IR sensor). And then a nightmare of all proportions. The hub is very simple, two connectors, one button, RGB LED as an indication. Inside the hub, something like an atmega 328 costs a little over 80 rubles as brains, a stupid low energy bluetooth that connects only to the latest versions of a tablet or laptop (and then, if you're lucky). The cost of this smart hub is a little over 300 rubles, but it is sold for 4000 rubles or so. So you still need to separately buy a battery for 5000 rubles. Just raising money on stupid and lazy people. I don’t even want to talk about the sensors in detail, their cost is no more than 100 rubles apiece, but they are presented as if there were golden tracks on the board.
