Perhaps it has two advantages - appearance and volume. I'm really curious - who are these people writing rave reviews about this device? Or did a bear step on your ears? Probably paid hipster bots) Anyway, to the point. -The sound is bottom. Completely. For this money, I expected at least some resemblance of hi-fi. I love bass, I love to listen to music loudly - but on this speaker, they are annoyingly boomy, unpleasant to listen to, and you intuitively want to turn it down. When you turn the bass control beyond 50%, it feels like the speakers are going to tear - you can hear crackling, popping, brr... -There are no mid frequencies. At all. They simply didn't bring them. Meanwhile, there are too many "hissing" highs. And when you want to reduce them with the beautiful treble knob... Correct, you just lower the gain from the pair of smaller speakers, and the nonexistent mid frequencies disappear altogether. How is that? On a speaker for 600 bucks? Shock, just shock. But there is an optical output. It's just that here it looks more like a mockery than a real necessity. use Marshall Woburn week i recommend it don't buy |
- Support for the Apt-X audio codec, which provides high-quality audio playback
P.S.
One of the sound sources during listening was a MacBook Pro Retina, with a quite decent Cirrus Logic audio chip. Yes, it's not a hi-fi player, but trust me – it wouldn’t have saved the situation. No equalizer in the world can fix the flawed design and setup of this sound system with $20 components.
