Meade ETX-90 MAK price graph

I'm not happy with this purchase, it's a waste of time and money.
    13 July 2017
Unfortunately, nothing, somehow, during operation, no advantages were identified.
It makes unpleasant noise when guiding the object, there are gaps, it is not clear with what force to fix the clamps on the mount, if you tighten it a little more, the tracking is more sharp (with jerks), weaker - it lags behind, the DSLR does not pull, (for example, 5DMarktIII) does not pull at all, it just if you leave it, there is a downward movement (the T-ring at the end), apparently you get a large lever, and the motors make a lot of noise and the entire rotating mechanism is rather weak. There are no instructions in the manual on how to correctly use (adjust) the equatorial wedge. The steering is not smooth (with the astro camera connected) and can be seen shaking slightly. The remote control cable is short and stiff. Immediately you need to take an external power supply or a battery (I took a 12Volt 7 A/h battery) - it holds up perfectly, but if you use AA batteries, it’s a complete disaster (well, or an AA-size battery). For visual observations - 5 points, and for astrophotography 0 points, VERY short focuser throw, it is VERY difficult to catch focus on a DSLR, in addition, it is not conveniently located and the small one itself, despite the fact that in a vertical position there is no space at all, there is no way to adjust it! For convenience, I attach a larger diameter nozzle (homemade) and in a vertical position I have to remove it; during focusing (with an astro camera) everything shakes, even if I do it very carefully, although the tripod is stable and heavy. The tube for astrophotography is dark, and at long shutter speeds it is not possible to get a picture at all due to not smooth tracking.
