Small in overall dimensions and inexpensive wireless router (router) supporting Wi-Fi connections of the 802.11b/g/n standard and cabled connection to the provider's network. The manufacturer is positioned as one of the most affordable devices of this class, designed to create a wireless coverage and/or a small cable LAN, which is formed using four RJ-45 LAN ports 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet.

Equipped with a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9531 network processor and three antennas (two external, one built-in). According to the manufacturer, thanks to this equipment, the Mercusys MW305R router is able to support wireless connections with a bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps. This data transfer rate is quite sufficient for typical home and office tasks (cloud services, video communication with FullHD-quality images, video streaming, games, file sharing networks, etc.). The device is also capable of acting as a firewall, NAT and DHCP server. Current security protocols WPA, WEP, WPA2 and traffic encryption are supported. There is parental control and the function of creating a separate virtual guest network.
