The portable router from the NETGEAR brand is a network device at the junction of mid-range and advanced class. The model supports 4G (LTE) networks, as well as earlier mobile data transmission technologies up to GPRS and EDGE. The accessory is also capable of sharing internet within a local network for 15 devices (users), for which it is equipped with a Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) wireless communication module.

Specifically designed for remote areas far from the benefits of civilization or, conversely, for use in densely populated environments, there is an option to enhance signal quality through the connection of external antennas: there are two dedicated ports on the body. The NETGEAR AC810 portable router is equipped with a 2930 mAh rechargeable battery. A full charge should last for 11 hours of autonomous operation (for direct internet surfing) or up to 11 days in standby mode. Additionally, it features a PowerBank function that allows the device to power a smartphone or other mobile gadgets. For wired connection and charging, there is a microUSB port. Another advantage of the model is the informative 2.4-inch color touchscreen display: it simplifies initial connection and other settings, and provides clear traffic monitoring, etc.
