Bought them along with the console. At first, there were some inconveniences, as I switched to them after Xbox, PC.
Initially, it was necessary to get used to the management, to the form, and it was necessary to get used to everything in general. But you get used to it by the next week, or you get used to them right away, like my cousin.
Buy additional Joy-Cons ONLY if you live in a large family or are in a large company all the time. I see no point in buying them for other reasons

-Compact size. Easily fit into any hard case from headphones.
-Vibration. The vibration makes you sometimes think that balls are rolling inside the Joy-Cons, and in general the vibration is at the highest level.
-Response. They have a very fast response, even able to work well when disconnected from the console, while using them to hit with a sword, etc.
-Infrared camera. It is able to track, for example, the movements of your mouth.
- Material and buttons. Joy-cons themselves are made of not cheap plastic, and the buttons are pressed very easily and pleasantly.

-Sticks. Wow, everyone has already heard about this, but I can’t help but mention it. Somewhere after a month of use, "backlash" begins. This is when you do not touch the sticks, but at the same time the console monitors that you are moving the camera, for example, to the right side. Well, this is very annoying. I wish Nintendo would remove this minus from Joy-Cons.
-Motion control. Sometimes the motion control is very lame and the "hands" are twisted, and then it just becomes uncomfortable to play.
