Ontario RAT-2

The Ontario Specialized Pocket Knife is a mid-range everyday carry solution. The model is a smaller version of the legendary RAT item. So, the length of the blade is 7.6 cm, and the overall dimensions when unfolded are 178 mm. At the same time, the weight does not exceed 80 grams, respectively, it is convenient to take the Ontario RAT-2 knife with you, carry it in the pocket of your pants or other clothes.

The blade provides a smooth cutting edge and is characterized by a small thickness of 2 mm. It is made of AUS-8 steel. It is a well-established alloy with high corrosion resistance, fracture toughness, machinability, and excellent hardness (claimed 58 HRC). The handle is distinguished by well-thought-out ergonomics, which confirms the presence of a pronounced sub-finger recess and a hole for threading a lanyard. The handle is made of plastic. Other features include the presence of a 2-way peg that allows you to open the model with one hand (and equally easy with both left and right), a quality lock to lock the blade and a pocket 4-position clip.
