Waterproof (3m), shockproof (1.5m) and dustproof – perfect for active outdoor shooting The FT1 was dropped from heights of up to 1.5m according to MIL-STD 810F Method 516.5-Shock. .In addition to the shock-resistant material of the outer part of the camera structure, the FT1 uses an optical system with a broken optical axis, which prevents damage to the lens unit when dropped. Also, the body of the lens is protected with an additional shock absorber designed to absorb the forces arising from impact.
The FT1 is waterproof to a depth of 3m and has an IP58 dustproof rating. Thanks to rubber seals and reinforced glass, as well as the use of carbon composites, the FT1 camera is sealed against the ingress of water, dust and sand. The FT1's LCD screen is deliberately thickened to resist pressure, which guarantees a good screen image even underwater.
The FT1 is an exceptionally versatile camera that you can use anywhere, and doesn't even need an additional underwater case. Swim with tropical fish and take pictures of the beautiful coral reef or take pictures of your friend around the campfire.
