Canon Speedlite EL-5 (5654C002)

Advanced camera flash with LED pilot lamp for Canon EOS R system mirrorless cameras. The model can function as either a slave or a master flash. In the latter mode, it allows for the control of groups up to five flashes within a range of approximately 30 m. A control signal is transmitted via one of 15 channels, selected automatically or manually. Wireless communication is established via a radio channel at a frequency of 2.4 GHz.

The Canon Speedlite EL-5 fully supports TTL, and manual control allows changing the power output from 1/1 to 1/1024 with a ±0.3 EV increment. Additionally, the model features a high-speed sync (HSS) mode for shooting at short exposures. The light spread angle is standardly adjustable for focal lengths from 20 to 200 mm, and with a diffuser, from 14 mm. The flash can rotate its “head” 180° left-right, 120° upward, and can tilt 7° downward. Control is managed through buttons and a backlit info-display, and users can also utilize the Camera Connect mobile app. The model is powered by a removable LP-EL battery, providing approximately 350 flashes on a full charge.
