Диск рекомендую использовать для ноутбуков, если столкнетесь с медленной работой внутреннего HDD. Накопитель способен прилично ускорить загрузку системы и запуск программ. Из-за малого объема, стоит использовать SSD в паре с заводским диском. На твердотелый установите систему, а медиафайлы храните на HDD. Главное достоинство накопителя, это его бюджетная цена. Учитывая, что подобные товары стоит прилично дороже, диск способен оживить даже старые машины. Винчестер выдает хорошие показатели скорости записи и чтения информации в бенчмарках, чего не ожидаешь от недорогой модели. Если подключить через Sata III, то 450 Мб/с вам обеспечены, а большего и не требуется. Винда ставит диску очень высокую оценку, что еще больше удивляет. Накопитель работает очень тихо, что стандартно для подобного класса устройств. Радует, что на официальном сайте можно скачать последнюю прошивку для диска и установить ее на компьютер. Кстати, обновление увеличивает скорость чтения и записи. Установил на диск винду 10-ку, загружается быстро, сек за 15. Из режима сна выходит намного быстрее, но это не удивительно, ведь система то не отключается полностью. Малый объем памяти, хотя учитывая стоимость, минус становится мелким недочетом. Немного удивило, что не смог высчитать срок жизни диска. At the limit
The sequential data write speed of the Patriot Blast, regardless of the size of the disk, is the same - 560 MB / s, which is almost the peak throughput of the SATA III interface. The write speed may differ: in the 120 GB version it is 425 MB / s, while in the 240 GB and more capacious - 530-540 MB / s. The speed limit is exclusively software (at the controller firmware level), in order to push the buyer to choose a more capacious, and therefore expensive, version.
Double edged stick
The Patriot Blast has only one drawback and it is a consequence of the use of cheap TLC flash memory. As many as three bits of data are stored in each cell of this memory, and therefore the cells wear out quickly (only 1000 rewrite cycles), after which they are tightly blocked by the controller. As a result, the drive gradually "loses weight" in volume. Fortunately, the modern Phison S10 controller, to the best of its ability, regularly cleans up software "garbage", thanks to which the disk will work for five years with average use.
As a result, we can recommend Patriot Blast to those who do not spend much time on the PC and want to get a performance boost at the lowest cost.
