Quad bike for outdoor play. The toy is driven by an electric motor. A powerful engine, a capacious battery, large plastic wheels - all this makes it possible to move not only on dry and even asphalt or tiles. The engine power of 280 W is enough not only to accelerate to a speed of 6.5 km per hour on a flat surface, but also to overcome the rise with a steepness of up to 10%. The toy is designed for the age group of 3 years and older, and the rigidity of the structure implies a child's weight of less than 40 kg.

My son got behind the wheel of this battery powered ATV when he was three years old. Actually it was my birthday present and the gift turned out to be very successful. It could not be otherwise, because such a car is the dream of any boy, and no money is a pity for the smile of his son. This is no longer a simple children’s car that crawls at a snail’s pace. It can accelerate up to 7 km/h, which is already a very fast walk, almost a run, you could say. However, I think at three years old, this is too fast, and for little kids there is a lock for the second "fast" speed, with the first speed maxing out at about 3 km/h. There are three speeds in total; there is also a reverse, which is about equal to the leisurely first speed. According to the manual, the engines in this electric car are quite powerful — 2 with 140 watts each. At least on somewhat uneven dirt roads or grass, it drives briskly. By the way, it even has front shock absorbers. A "bull bar" is provided to soften impacts with obstacles, as they undoubtedly occur. There is also hand protection which is definitely not superfluous. Overall, the quad bike looks very impressive, and during walks, it often catches the eye of other children. Passport engine power is obviously overestimated. If it really had almost 300 watts of power, it would simply take off on the hills, but rather crawl with difficulty. The battery is also not the most capacious. Such a capacity is placed on less powerful cars with a maximum speed of 3-4 km / h. Enough of his strength for an hour, or even less. |
We live in a country house, and therefore we chose an electric car for the child that was larger, more powerful and could drive on almost any and sometimes not the most even surface. Immediately the search was limited to a few well-established brands; I didn’t want to spend either time or effort on less proven options. In the end, we settled on the Peg Perego Corral T-Rex, as it fully met all our requirements. Firstly, large wide wheels, which ensured ideal cross-country ability and stability of the vehicle. Secondly, quite a lot of power. The electric car drove like a tank almost everywhere, and the child was not limited only to asphalt surfaces and paved park paths. Which was very, very nice. The machine itself is of very high quality, which we had no doubt about, since we have long preferred Peg Perego when purchasing certain children's things. The plastic is durable and reliable, all the parts fit perfectly together, nothing dangles or falls off. The important thing is that all controls are hidden and well protected so that a child cannot reach them. I’ve just seen cars more than once that you just need to turn over and all the wires come out. The speed of the electric car is quite decent. When we bought a car for our son, at first we even put a helmet on him, because safety comes first, and children are children. But we must also give credit to the manufacturers - there is a bumper on the front of the electric car. The machine itself is quite boring. It wouldn't be bad if it had more buttons. levers, flashing lights and the like that would be interesting for a child to play with. And another drawback is the price. The Peg Perego Corral T-Rex is quite expensive, and if you decide to change some parts (for example, buy a new battery), it will also cost a pretty penny. But sometimes you have to overpay for quality, and there’s nothing you can do about it. use Peg Perego Corral T-Rex month or more |
