a 21.5-inch monitor with a basic set of characteristics, addressed to unpretentious users and sharpened for simple everyday tasks (watching movies, working with documents, etc.). The budgetary roots of the model are given by the type of matrix used, which belongs to the genus of TN solutions. Its strengths are FullHD-resolution (1920x1080 pixels) and low response time (5 ms GtG), but the Philips 223V5LSB2 has a mediocre screen in other respects.

So, its peak brightness reaches 200 cd / m², the static contrast ratio is 600:1, and the viewing angles are 160 ° vertically and 170 ° horizontally. However, for the successful completion of most simple home and office tasks, the monitor's capabilities are more than enough. Connecting the model to a PC is carried out exclusively through the analogue VGA interface. There are no other connectors on board the monitor. Unless there are holes from the rear for a VESA bracket of the 100x100 mm standard, with which the device is hung on the wall.

You can give it to someone to take revenge...

The monitors (so, baby!) were purchased for a budgetary organization for budgetary (even!) pennies. Seemingly brilliant, I haven’t seen such a shitty color scheme for a long time. Brightness also does not arise catastrophically, since in the room there is light in the sun, you will gradually strain your eyes in order to gain weight. When I look around, without hesitation you can marvel at sitting directly in front of the monitor (though for some this may be a plus). The plastic is, let’s say, tenacious, but at least it doesn’t stink.
Cheaper.

good model, I liked it

The monitor is really good value for money. The price is perhaps the main advantage of the model. Although the image quality is pleasantly pleased, given that this is an affordable solution. If you take it home or to the office for simple work, it will be just right.
the color reproduction quality corresponds to the TN matrix standard, so it would be foolish to expect miracles. The image is what it should be, it's not IPS. But the really significant advantage is the matte surface of the screen. Although the shades are not very juicy for games or films, but while working on the Internet, this is a plus. The screen does not glare, so the eyes are less tired when sitting for a long time. However, the dust is insanely noticeable, you have to wipe it every couple of days. The monitor has a good response time, more than enough to work on the Internet. Although gamers would probably be very indignant that it reacts slowly. It's cool that the resolution is large, if the video card pulls, then the picture will be clear. Movies look good, especially in FullHD. Brightness and contrast can be quickly adjusted using the smart menu.
I will note a slightly flimsy leg, although this is not a very big problem, because the device does not weigh much. If it were 27 inches, then the unsteadiness would be more due to weight. The viewing angles are small, but this is not critical, because you always have to sit in front of the screen, and not to the side of it. I would also like to have an HDMI connector, and that is only VGA.
