It also has the essential pulse mode. The main feature of the blender is the two working containers. The first is a large two-liter glass cup. The glass isn't just ordinary; it's heat-resistant, so you can, for example, make hot puree soup in it. The second container is a special cup for making smoothies, which was the main reason for the purchase. The trick is that you simply change the lid on this cup, and you can drink the smoothie directly from it. Both the concept and execution are excellent; my wife was thrilled )) In any case, this blender mixes and chops just wonderfully. The powerful motor and sharp blades handle any ingredients. The blender can be washed without any problems. The glass jug can be safely put in the dishwasher. The smoothie-making glass is made of plastic, meaning it scratches easily and can quickly lose its attractive appearance. To prevent this, it needs to be handled with extra care and under no circumstances should it be placed in the dishwasher. |
Large volumes
The Philips Viva Collection HR 3556 blender helps you prepare delicious drinks, homemade mayonnaise, sauces, boiled food purees, baby food and batters (e.g. for pancakes). He can handle even hard fruits and vegetables, nuts and ice. However, he does not like viscous substances, and for better grinding, pieces of food must be cut finely enough. At the same time, cooked enough for the whole family: the volume of the bowl is 2 liters, but it holds a maximum of 1.5 liters, which is symbolized by the Max mark on the scale.
Equipment
In addition to the main bowl, which holds a large amount of products and allows you to load even hot ingredients (up to 60 degrees), the set includes a plastic shaker with a volume of 600 mL. You can make smoothies in it and take it with you on the road thanks to a convenient drinking lid. The first bowl will cope with solid foods, but in the second it is better to prepare only cocktails.
For convenience, the lid of the main bowl has a hole to add ingredients during cooking. The cap can be used as a measuring cup as it has a measuring scale. In addition, it is applied to both bowls. All removable parts can be washed in the dishwasher, and there is a compartment for the cord in the case.
Power
The blender's power of 900 W is enough for household needs. To work with different products, different speed modes are provided: from light mixing for soft fruits to maximum speed for hard fruits. There is also a pulse mode: it is advised to turn it on several times for a couple of seconds to crush ice and quickly process ingredients.
The device is equipped with an overheating protection function. In order not to bring to this — the time of continuous operation should not exceed 2 minutes, in high load mode — less than 60 seconds.
