Bought because of the speed controller. I work mostly at low speeds. I grind pieces of wood, and therefore I do not use a casing. Lightweight, fits well in the hand. Start without a jerk, gently. I've been using it since 2003. It has never let me down; only at the start of this year (2016) did a backlash appear in the gear shaft. The diagnosis was the bearing. Small and light
