A video recording device of what is happening on the road in the popular format of the overlay on the interior rear-view mirror. Such a design does not block the view of the driver of the car and does not catch the eye from the street. Pioneer VREC-200CH's reflective panel is centered on a 4.3-inch diagonal screen that displays images from the main or rear camera, as well as the device's menu interface.
To control it, sub-screen mechanical buttons are used. The car recorder records video in FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) with a frame rate of 30 fps. The angle of view of his lens is approximately 120 °, which is not so much in the context of peers. Power is supplied to the mirror recorder via a wire from the car cigarette lighter socket. Recordings from the cameras of the device are saved to the microSD card in separate folders. In addition, the onboard armament of the model provides the presence of a shock sensor — the so-called G-sensor, when triggered, the associated video materials are automatically moved to a special section for emergency file saving.

Economical choice
The Pioneer VREC-200CH rearview mirror-mounted dash cam offers the basic features every driver needs. The main camera guarantees a good overview, but is limited to HD resolution, which is why in poor lighting or rain conditions the video detail may be insufficient. The optional sensor also has limited resolution, but features LED illumination activated via a control cable when reverse is engaged, improving visibility when parking. The device is conveniently mounted on the rear view mirror using special clamps without the need for tools.
Simplicity and functionality
This DVR is equipped with a compact 4.3-inch screen that offers various display modes: separate image from the front or rear camera, picture in picture, or split screen in half. The video is recorded with sound, which can be turned off if desired. Recordings are saved to a memory card with a capacity of up to 32 GB, which is enough for daily continuous shooting. Automatic backup of recordings to a protected memory section is ensured thanks to the G-sensor, which is triggered upon impact.
