This tire has the perfect balance of features to price. I've driven on many different tires on various cars, and over time I've created my own top tire list. Rest assured, this tire definitely made it onto that list. The car holds the road beautifully on both straight stretches and curves. I've had a few near-accidents, but the brakes and tires performed excellently, stopping very well.
On the road, the tire is very quiet. Previously, that Audi had Continental Sport Contact, which was loud. It seems to me that those Continentals turned into plastic after the first year and just thumped along the road.
The tire performed excellently both in dry heat and heavy rain (of course, no one sped in the rain, only within legal limits and according to road traffic), but it even felt like driving on dry asphalt. That's a great result, in my opinion.
I've only driven one season so far, so I can't comment on wear yet. The tire itself is quite soft (which contributes to ride comfort), so it may wear down easily... although that's not necessarily true. There have been cases where harder tires wore down in just a few seasons, while softer ones on the same car lasted longer. The main thing here is the secret tire mixture that the manufacturer blended with the rubber.
