In our kitchen, there were not so many options for the location of the hood. Neither the domed, nor the T-shaped, nor the fashionable inclined design was categorically suitable, since for this it was necessary to abandon one of the cabinets. The issue was solved by choosing a hood built into the bottom of the cabinet. At the same time, it does not take up much space and part of the internal space of the cabinet is saved. A slim built-in model that fits perfectly in our kitchen. This is perhaps the most compact option of all possible. When folded, it is incredibly small, but the retractable canopy allows you to cover almost the entire surface above the stove. Equipped with a powerful motor that develops good performance. I do not believe in the reality of 700 cubic meters per hour, it is rather a theoretical performance that all manufacturers like to indicate. But she is certainly capable of pulling 350-400 real cubes. At least in the conditions of our kitchen with a narrow four-burner stove, the hood copes with its duties at the first or second speed. The third one is needed for emergencies and it came in handy when, due to the tack, which was unsuccessfully placed near the switched on stove, a fire almost started. The potholder was half burnt, and the wooden cutting board on which it lay was visibly charred. In the process of extinguishing, a whole cloud of smoke formed and the high-speed operation of the hood turned out to be very useful. After 20 minutes, only a slight smell reminded of a dangerous situation. The main problem is the noise. Only the first speed does not make much noise, the second is already clearly audible, and when you turn on the third, you immediately want to go to another room. |
