Perimetric suction system

The wall-mounted fireplace hood Gorenje DK 63 MCLI in ivory colour is made in the traditional country style and belongs to the air purifiers of the Classico collection. Also on the market is the model in black colour Gorenje DK 63 MCLB. The composite construction of the dome 60 cm wide consists of 2 parts: one is made in the form of a truncated pyramid and is connected to the air duct, and the second is made in the form of a flat umbrella. The latter has a slightly curved profile, and its frontal plane is decorated with contour lines of bronze colour. The model is designed for operation in the mode of exhaust outlet or closed air circulation in the room (additional installation of a carbon filter is required) and is equipped with a PAS perimeter suction system

Gluttonous electric motor

The device is equipped with a 280 W motor, which results in the hood using a lot of electricity (117.9 kWh/year, energy efficiency class D). There are 2 mechanical rotary switches on the flat front panel of the dome. One of them is responsible for turning on / off the LED lighting with a total power of 8 W, and the second sets the intensity of air purification. The hood has 4 fan speed settings that determine the air purification performance in the exhaust mode: I - 218 m³ / h, II - 328 m³ / h, III - 469 m³ / h and IV - 621 m³ / h. In recirculation mode, the maximum productivity is 545 m³/h. The device turned out to be quite heavy (15.9 kg), which can cause difficulties during installation.
