The buttons press confidently. Plugs insert with comfortable force, just as needed - not too tight, not too loose. There are shutters. The material of the case is just terrible! There are some streaks and artifacts on the plastic surface. From a distance, it may not be noticeable, but it's supposed to be a tabletop model. Switches for each socket are there for the convenience of organizing devices, which in most use cases is logically and more conveniently done on the table. And the manufacturer seems to know this, as they didn't even provide for wall mounting. So how could they create such a horror?! If they didn't care about a shapely form for tabletop use, at least leave the consumer with the quality of the surface; it doesn't seem that difficult to do, because I've never seen plastic on a case look so bad, even on total no-name blocks with disposable buttons or their light indicators. It looks very ironic, therefore, to see a noticeable white round "QC" sticker on the edge. And judging by reviews and videos on the internet, these cases have been manufactured for years in this condition. Mine is already from later batches ("04/2020" is also marked on the box), because the "Überspannungsschutz" inscription next to the large button, which was there earlier and can be seen on the image outside the box, is worn out. When I was choosing, I didn't study the reviews much, because firstly, it didn't make much sense, as unfortunately, there are no other similar models with a long cable on the market in Ukraine now, and secondly, as I said, I couldn't imagine such exterior workmanship. use REAL-EL RS-6 Extra 3m less than month |

Varistor and wall mount
Unlike many inexpensive filters, the RS-6 Extra also has a varistor that limits surge surges by absorbing excess voltage. Such protection is designed primarily for random short-term bursts and does not react in any way to non-critical excess of the nominal value. Add here basic protection against short circuit and overload in the network, protective shutters for children and you get a completely versatile and at the same time inexpensive surge protector. To complete the picture, only a couple of USB ports are missing, but this is not critical.
