The Ring Video Doorbell 2 intercom panel is equipped with a motion sensor, and after it is triggered or the doorbell rings, you will receive a notification on your smartphone/tablet and a video stream from the camera with a resolution of up to 1920x1080 (supports night infrared shooting). A microphone and speaker, also installed in the casing, provide two-way audio communication. It is equipped with a built-in single-band Wi-Fi module (2.4 GHz), allowing the panel to connect to the network "wirelessly." Power is supplied via a removable battery or cable, with the latter option allowing you to use the existing wiring of a regular doorbell. You need to install the proprietary Ring app on the gadget through which you will receive notifications and broadcasts. The device is compatible with the Alexa voice assistant and the Amazon Echo smart speaker. The vandal-resistant dust/waterproof casing is made of plastic and aluminum.

Smart Internet Connection
The device connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. The video call can be used as part of the Ring smart home system or independently. Remote control and access to functions are implemented through the Ring app mobile application. In addition, the model perfectly interacts with the Amazon Alexa voice assistant and Amazon Echo devices.
Full HD Camera with Night Vision
The call panel is designed for outdoor installation and is made in a vandal-proof casing with protection against dust and moisture. It is powered either by a built-in battery or by doorbell wiring with a voltage of 8–24 V. The video stream is transmitted using a 2-megapixel camera with a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. An infrared illumination system is used for night shooting. The device has no built-in memory, but a Ring Protect subscription is available for storing recordings in the proprietary cloud service.
Customizable Motion Detection Zones
The camera is equipped with a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of about 155°. Shooting automatically starts when motion is detected in the frame. In the mobile application, detection zones can be set to avoid false alarms.
