Functionally “pumped” smartwatch for adherents of an active lifestyle from the Samsung model range of 2019. The wearable gadget is equipped with a round dial, the substrate for the "construction" of which was a 1.1-inch diagonal AMOLED matrix with a pixel density of 463ppi (at a resolution of 360x360 pixels). A “gorilla” glass is installed on top of the display, in general, the degree of protection of the “smart” watch from external factors is indicated by IP68 and MIL-STD-810G marks.
A lot of sensors on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active bot are busy tracking the user's physical activity, registering the number of contractions of the heart muscle, monitoring the quality of sleep, and even measuring blood pressure (only available in certain regions from the start). Also, support for four dozen sports is built into the watch, and the model also monitors the level of stress and gives recommendations on breathing exercises for relaxation.
"At the helm" of the wearable gadget's hardware platform is a homegrown dual-core chip coupled with 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of RAM. Powerful "iron" provides hours of nimble responsiveness to user actions without lags and "brakes". The module also received a GPS module and an NFC chip for contactless payment for purchases. The smartwatch is charged using Qi wireless technology, including from Samsung smartphones with support for "distribution" of energy "through the air".

I have a Samsung phone and these devices really complement each other. I noticed that many complain about autonomy. I do not agree with them, my family has been using Apple watches for a long time and also charges them for the night. If you want good autonomy for a couple of days, set the vegetable settings. Somehow spontaneously I got this purchase, so I have a rather sober look at this watch, without rose-colored glasses. They are great, but there are some downsides. Pluses in the functionality and quality of the screen. The functionality is great, a lot of programs. Lots of presets and modes. Everything is very simple and clear, you enter the topic from the first time. The screen is bright, saturated, there is a function to display it, like in phones, I really didn’t have a Samsung, but I have a meise, there is such a function, so I know. Very cool implementation of data collection, analysis, graphs, etc. The clock works quickly, I have never even seen a frieze. I didn’t check in the pool, but I washed with them in the shower, everything seems to be ok. I liked that the strap is removable and you can buy any other. But the basic one seems to work. Here, by the way, although the touch screen, but the control is 50/50 tied to the button + sensor. For a long time I could not figure out how to quickly return to the slave table. It turned out the combination to the top + button. Basel metal, cold to the touch. On the wrist, the watch is not felt at all, but I will not write that this is a plus. It may be a plus for athletes, but rather a minus for me, because I want to feel the watch on my hand. But this is subjective. Now about the shortcomings of the real ones: They are disposable in terms of charge. That is, you have to charge them every day. yes, about 30% remains in the morning, but what's the point of these 30%? Also, in fact, NFC does not work here, because there is no support for Samsung Pay ( Cool screen. Very functional watch, suitable for both the athlete and the user. Fast, do not lag at all.
