I work in a budget organization, and they practically never turn on the heating before November. Even then, it only works just enough to prevent the plumbing system from freezing. I had an oil heater and a fan heater. I had to take the oil heater home because without it, the children's room was too cold, and the bearing sleeve in the fan heater started making noise. So this fall, my colleagues and I had to buy a new heater for ourselves. The price was one of the main factors in our decision, so we opted for this super-budget model from Saturn. It's a brand after all, and there's an official warranty. It warms up really well. At full power, you can definitely feel the flow of hot air rising from the convector's insides. The heating power can be adjusted with a three-stage regulator at 750, 1250, or 2000W. Additionally, there's a thermostat on the side. However, in our conditions of a large cold room (25 square meters and three sizable windows), the thermostat isn't very useful; the heater works at full capacity anyway. We set it up on the included legs, and it's stable, not easy to tip over even if you try deliberately. There's an official two-year warranty. This is an open-type convector, meaning if you look inside while the heater is running, you can see the glowing coil. The problem is that anything landing on this hot exposed surface starts to burn. After the first use, the stench was terrible, and we had to open a window. I don't know what got on the coil at the factory, but it smelled like burnt oil. It ran at full power for an hour, and it seemed to get a bit better. But we often have visitors, and cleaning doesn't happen every day. The dust people bring on their shoes gets into the air, lands on the coil, and also creates an unpleasant smell. At home, this might not be as crucial, but in our case, the heater significantly worsened the air quality. |
This is the best deal on the market. The effect is felt immediately after switching on, quickly raises the temperature in the room. No. ![]() |
