Having bought a grill for Batkam. I use the OptiGrill Elite touchscreen with a larger set of programs. Only controls for a number of programs are affected, otherwise they are practically identical.
4-5 khvilins are warmed up and another 5-10 khvilins are prepared for more strains. Steaks, burger patties, toast, cowbass. An indispensable assistant for cooked meat :) Automatic programs effectively simplify cooking. There is no need to think about the temperature, the grill takes care of everything for you. The fat drains into the tray and does not spill on the table. Heating temperature up to 255 degrees. Є defrosting function (it’s better to defrost before cooking - it will be tastier). Cleaning the bottom non-stick panel from grease is easy through the small gap between the “ribs”. There is no timer and no input required. Does not open 180 degrees. The double-sided contact grill Tefal OptiGrill + GC 706D is a real multifunctional combine that can fry almost all products, making it better than many analogues. At the first glance at the device, the unusual location of the electronic control panel, placed on a flat handle, immediately catches the eye. In comparison with the traditional panel on the front surface of the case, this gives a gain not only in the comfort of settings, but also in additional space: the absence of adjustment elements on the facade made it possible to place a long tray in front to receive dripping juice and fat, from which nothing will spill onto the table. The model is equipped with a powerful 1800 W heating system, complemented by 2 removable contact plates with embossed protrusions and an inclination, which at the same time serve as guides for draining excess liquid released during cooking. The total area of the grill working surface is 600 cm2 and is determined by the size of removable non-stick plates made of cast aluminium — 20x30 cm. The device is not designed for turning the lid at an angle of 180 ° and works only in contact mode.

The main feature of the grill is the patented proprietary OptiGrill + Initial technology, which comprehensively adjusts the optimal parameters for cooking meat and steaks, depending on the thickness and size of the piece. Sensors automatically estimate the portion size and select the temperature and cooking time, and the hinge mechanism independently adjusts to the thickness of the product placed in the grill, ensuring its tight contact with the heating plates. The device is also equipped with 6 automatic cooking programs that always provide consistently excellent results. Among the automatic assistants of the electronic chef, we have the following programs: cooking burger patties, cooking poultry, red meat, fish, sausages and crispy hot sandwiches. The device also supports manual operation with 5-level temperature settings ranging from 120 to 270 °C, allowing you to get 5 different degrees of cooking for every taste: from light "rare" to deep "well done".
